I don't give two hoots about the latest and greatest and snazziest technology by any means - I couldn't care less. BUT: My son bought a new iPhone, so my wife got his old one and I got her second-generation hand-me-down iPhone. I still don't really give two hoots about the latest and greatest technology, but whatever you do - DON'T TOUCH MY IPONE!!!! All I can say is that is really is the kitty's tushy. It is so versatile. The latest thing I'm doing with it is I bought a water-proof case for it that has an extra battery and a high-sensitivity GPS and downloaded a nautical chart app (for $20) and will serve as my GPS navigation on my sailboat. I use Verituner on it. It has built-in GPS. It is so easy to use. What else can I say? It really is different than anything like this that I've ever had in the past. I know that there is the ability to run credit cards through it, and many other features. It would cost another $30 on my phone bill, as well as the initial cost of the phone ($149 or $49 depending on whether I want it to talk to me). > Thanks > Patrick C.
