I suspect not. That "new one, (that), has 4hp!", probably doesn't. <G> The hp ratings have changed a whole helluva lot over the years, especially with electric motors! I've found that the 1/2 hp (olde) electric motor had/has a whole lot more "umph" than the new stuff, of the same rating. Perhaps someone can speak intelligently on this issue.<G> It's good that "it really works well."<G> > What's with the "I never blow anything inside the home or professor office, however"??? It's their dust/dirt! It needs to be OUT of the pianer no matter whut! Besides, there are ways of collecting that "blown dust", such as wet sheets, or ??? > That's my take on it. > Joe > > > > [Original Message] > > From: Paul Williams <pwilliams4 at unl.edu> > > To: joegarrett at earthlink.net <joegarrett at earthlink.net>; pianotech at ptg.org <pianotech at ptg.org> > > Date: 6/18/2012 12:12:28 PM > > Subject: Re: [pianotech] metro vac and blow (a little OT) > > > > Joe, I agree somewhat.
