I also grab the door handle with a paper towel, if available (why do bathrooms have doorknobs on the inside, at all? Why can't they just be pushed outward?) and then toss it in the corner if a trash can is not available. Soon enough, Management will put a can there that should have been there all along. Works. Trust me on this. Thumpe P.S. I've always asked where I can wash my hands as soon as I've entered a customer's house, explaining that I never touch others' property unless immediately first doing so. It shows respect for them and the instrument (and my tools --- steering wheels and handlebars collect much grunge) and appropriately, subtly shames them if they're the sort who do not treat the instrument as well, themselves. They will be impressed. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: <https://www.moypiano.com/ptg/pianotech.php/attachments/20120620/9c3f4ca9/attachment.htm>
