I like to do "ghost" tuning as well--it saves a bunch of time, and after many years of practice, my muscle memory is pretty close with the feel of the pin twisting.  I have broken my sharw of strings over the years though.  I dont attempt this procedure unless the piano is at least 50$ flat....
