Carpet beetles will also do this kind of damage.  Is that a dead one I see lying next to the front punching for note E68?  If it's a carpet beetle infestation, the piano will also likely be full of the larval casings.  
On the bright side, the balance rail mortices look all nicely cleaned out and ready to be rebushed.
