[pianotech] Hammer Blow

[Al Guecia/Allied PianoCraft]

I made up an Excel worksheet that I use for action work and rebuilding. In the action portion, I input the string height and center pin height and from there I've got the sheet set up to calculate the hammer length, bore distance, back check height, etc.

My question; Does anyone or is there a way to calculate the blow distance or do you just go with about 45 to 47mm range?
