Go online and get the manual, and read how to do it. I don't blame Dell, you didn't purchase the unit from them. If a warranty is transferable, get it transferred. They are not going to take your word for it. It could even be a stolen item. Then again, could it possibly be a Microsoft problem, that is who you usually like to blame. :-) John Ross, Windsor, Nova Scotia On 14-10-2012, at 3:50 PM, Duaine Hechler <dahechler at att.net> wrote: > ATTN: DELL SUPPORT ISSUES (BOYCOTT DELL PRODUCTS)............... > > I PURCHASE AN INSPIRON 910 OFF OF EBAY - WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE PREVIOUS OWNER. > > DELL HAS - 6 TIMES - REFUSED TO HELP ME ANSWER A - SHOULD BE - COMMON KNOWLEDGE QUESTION. > > HOW DO I TURN ON THE FUNCTION KEYS (F1-F10) WITHIN WINDOWS XP. > > I HAVE GOTTEN HUNG UP ON 3 TIMES. > > AND UNTIL I CAN GET THE ORIGINAL OWNERS' INFO (NAME, ADDRESS, ETC) TO TRANSFER THE OWNERSHIP IN MY NAME - THEY ARE - PLAIN - OUT - REFUSING - TO TALK TO ME. > > -- > Duaine Hechler > Piano, Player Piano, Pump Organ > Tuning, Servicing & Rebuilding > Reed Organ Society Member > Florissant, MO 63034 > (314) 838-5587 > dahechler at att.net > www.hechlerpianoandorgan.com > -- > Home & Business user of Linux - 11 years > -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
