Of course, duh, that would have been a picture! Somehow it didn't come through, though there was a nice box, empty. There are many file-sharing sites that will host photos. YOu upload files and images to their site, and then they generate a link that you can share with friends and associates so they can access the images. Dropbox is popular, and it's what I use. The only way that the rail will move in that direction is if the attachment of the rail to the pedal linkage is in front of the rail pivot. For it to work properly, the rail must be in at least a 1:00 position so that it will pull the rail down closer to the strings in a clockwise direction. If, as you say, it is going the other way, the rail attachment is in an 11:00 position, so that it moves the other way (counterclockwise). I would make sure that the pivot point for the rail is in the right hole. If somebody drilled the hole in the wrong place, there may be two or more holes to choose from. That might be a possibility. Well, until we can get a picture, we're just trying to pin a tail on a donkey. I copied and pasted it from my e-mail. I wonder if it came up as a blank box. The pedal does work and has quite a bit of spring action it seems. Its just that it pulls the rail toward the player rather than over the hammers. I'm going to see if the pic will work this time.
