With a sledgehammer! (Haha!) But seriously folks....... unless the OPSOIQ (offending piano-shaped-object in question) is one of those VERY early (late 1930's) Wurlys that were well made for their size, and in EXCELLENT condition, or some other extremely exceptional example, the dire matter of the very high grief-to-reward ratio encountered during the maddening procedure of action regulation on a so-called "spinet" is yet another reason to encourage a customer to hop on over to craigslist and quite easily find ( like the 2 Everett studio uprights for $150 in Atlanta today) a FAR, FAR, better way to spend their hard-earned cash!!! In my opinion, these so-called "spinets" are an abominable insult to all standards of good taste, musicality and civilization; and life is too short to be engaging in the morally questionable practice of degrading oneself by helping to preserve them at the mere request of unaware customers, when far better pianos can be found
for nearly nothing! Take a stand for Culture, and if at all possible, benevolently, charitably, MERCIFULLY steer your customer toward a wiser choice!
