To Mr Dean May,

You don't get it: as far as some people are concerned, being "always logged onto Google anyway on my computer" sounds like a version of Hell we'd like to avoid.

Many of us don't have the option of constant, high-speed connectivity; many of us don't even want it.

(C'mon, just give me a "like" ! I promise to give you a "like" right back!)

What a pile of horse manure the Internet is turning into (in places) (IMHO).

As a relative Babe-In-The-Woods (both as regards IT and as regards PTG and tech listserve history and infighting) : What would it take to keep the PianoTech list operating as it has been? What kind of expenses and hours and know-how are required? Would people be willing to contribute $ if that were required? (I could see making a yearly or quarterly contribution to it.)

Joseph

p.s. I love the fact that there are NOT SUB-Forums in this format. You're sort of forced to wade through stuff you might not have looked at. I've learned from this. Hate to give it up, TIME SINK tho it may sometimes be!!
