<html> I may be the youngest one on the list now  (i think....)   - - - I also play the piano (and am wanting to learn to tune -- have practiced some but still need a little work on hammer & pin technique.)  A couple weeks ago, I was playing a piano at a friend's house without a pitch reference.  I kinda thought it sounded a little on the flat side, so this evening I was there and brought my dad's $15 chromatic tuner (which I don't like to trust for an entire tuning, but maybe a simple but non-precise pitch reference might be OK), which told me the piano was "only" about 10 cents flat.
