They are much longer and have a hole drilled in one end to hold a string = that hooks the hammer return spring. Schwander or Yamaha style setup except = that the string is held by the butt plate and not part of the hammer butt assembly.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Courier size=5>Any one have a few of these critters = before we start robbing  from the ends?</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Courier size=5>the string in theplates will be easy = to replace with spider fishing line, but Ihave never seen this long a plate.</FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML>
