Hi Joel,<br>
I got lucky just recently, The Maestro formally acknowledged me from
centre stage. Then asked me to address the audience re: HT tuning
for Beethoven's #1 and #2 . #3 and #4 will be late Late
Jan, #5 and Piano and Orchestra, in late Mar will be recorded
by CBC. For the first time, Not faceless stage left.<br><br>

At my former University It almost took an act of congress to have<br>
the production staff listed on the programs. But, we now have

recording engineer, piano technician, concert manager, etc. on<br>
the concert programs.<br><br>
I tuned for a weekly live broadcast where the entire<br>
radio staff was acknowledged, but not one word about the<br>
piano technician who rebuilt the piano and tuned every<br>
week. <grrrrrrrrr> . However, during their annual
on air fund<br>
raiser It was emphasized how much piano tuning cost<br>
for the production of the concert series.<br><br>
I add to Braid White that not only are we the 'unseen artist',<br>
but also the unknown.<br><br>

I wonder how many of us that do this type of work are given credit in a
program..seems like it should be SOP, but I bet it's not.<br><br>
