<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Another one, as long as we are all =
baring our
souls.....Customer leaves for Florida for the winter. I contract =
to strip
and refinish their baby grand in their apartment as remodeling done =
after the
piano was moved in prevented its removal. Fine. I lay a new =
heavy
canvas on top of their beautiful new white shag carpet under the =
piano.
Also fine. Perform the necessary stripping and refinishing over 2 =
months
time. Looks great. Take up the canvas. Not so =
fine.
Carpet is now covered with a red powder from the underside of the new
canvas. Call the carpet cleaner and give him a good portion of the =
profit
from the job. Never told the customer what happened. Will =
also never
do another refinish in the home....... Mike
