Does anyone have trouble with the spoon bending tool to be flimsy?

I went to the eastern PTG convention in Pittsburgh, and a gal, (I =

Karen Cleveland) gave a damper class where she had this really cool =
trick of
using a cable/construction tie to hold the damper rod back while =
adjusting
either the spoons or the
