who said her piano needed new shoulders. Went to look. Mendelso=
hn spinet,, from the 30's. All the keys were down. Plastic elbows.&nbs=
p; Wrong body part diagnosis. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS">Got the job, and in taking the action out =
noticed the dampers were ringing. Once out,, saw the damper rail had b=
ecome unglued from the wip rail. Quoted the repair and got the job. </=

<DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS">Off comes the dampers, reglue the rail.&nb=
sp; Then all of a sudden off pops the wippin rail. Off comes the wips =
and bridle straps rotted. That's not so bad, but the tabs were glued t=
o the wires. Took them off with some dificulty. Of course there =
were no bridle strap extension on the butt stems so had to go with the stupi=
d clip ons. Dropped a dab of CA glue on the clips cause I KNOW when yo=
u try to re-attach the straps to the wires the clips fall off.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS">Bench looked like a giant jig-saw puzzle.&=
nbsp; Re-glued the rails and put humpty-dumpty back together again. Di=
d the elbows and will return the action this week.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS">Did I mention two dozen or so keys had a c=
ase of the "Growing Lead Weights" syndrome? Jamming the keys against e=
ach other. </FONT></DIV>
