Most of the pianos used were the 6'7" Kimball Viennese models. On the Carson show they had a Bosendorfer Imperial, but they also had a 7' something "Kimball" they'd role out for some guest performers. Now, Kimball didn't build a 7' something. What they did was take a few Bosendorfers where larger pianos were required, and put the name Kimball on them for the marketing purpose they served. But all of these were polished ebony. None were in a decorator home style case in pecan. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The 6'7" Viennese model was actually a pretty good piano in its own right.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV></BODY></HTML>
