a popular wood to use. I have a bunch of go-bars made from red oak that work
very well. Pick a wood that doesn't splinter/crack easily. My oak may not be the
best choice as I had one bar crack and launch across my shop. Fortunately no one
was in the trajectory of the very sharp spear that went flying!</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>Mine are about 18 millimeters square - but that just depends
on how much pressure you want to apply with each go-bar. I'd recommend cutting
an experimental go-bar and test numerous dimensions until you find the pressure
you are looking for. You can vary the length a little bit also to vary
pressure.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>Are the go-bars for ribbing a panel? Have you considered going
pneumatic? I know a guy who has a couple ugly but very stout pneumatic rib
presses for sale - or make 'em yourself - they're really pretty simply to
