<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>Hi Normand,</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>Thank you for the updated
catalogue.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>There are however, a couple of things, which I
have found to be absolutely no good. I tried them 30 years ago, and am
surprised to see them, as I thought they had been removed from the market.
Ok, I didn't see them in your other catalogue. :-(</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>One is your 0501 Metal tuning
pin bushings. When they are used, they do not hold well, yes they
tighten up, but they do not have the proper friction. If you have the pin
out, it is just as easy to replace the pin. A piece of veneer, or even
sandpaper, works much better, if you don't have the right
pin.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>The other is 0072, the flange pin retaining
clip. If the pin is loose enough to slip out, then the hammer is too loose,
and will wobble sideways, and wear the felt prematurely. When I tried them,
they even punched a hole through the aluminium, in a short while. It is much
better to repin, so push the repinning tools. :-)</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>Check with other of your trusted technicians,
for their opinion.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>It is just I don't want people to buy
something you sell, and then find out it doesn't do the
job.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>I like the new catalogue. I saw it at Chris
Davison's office yesterday, and was going to ask where mine was, then here
it is today. :-) Mind you, he got a price list. :-(</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>Ok, I will use the
internet.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>Best regards,</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
