The deed would have been done either way. I had the part, helped him out, doubled my money, and re-ordered on my next routine order. Yes, I've ticked off a few, but I just won't be a party to "do-it-yourself" piano work or "schlock" types, screwing up my beloved pianos, in my area. The same goes for selling "tuning kits" to the general public, etc. It just isn't a good idea, unless you can have some "control" over the situation, IMO.
