<DIV><SPAN class=703354123-22052006>I tried progressives when it came time to
admit I needed more than just a single lens. I was told the loss of
peripheral vision doesn't bother most people but I found it unacceptable. I
understand that the technology has advanced since then and the loss has been
somewhat reduced. I may give them another try. Someday. Currently I have
bi-focals for reading/most other things, and another set of bi-focals that I use
when I'm at my computer. I'm about ready to take the leap to tri-focals because
so much of my piano work requires head angles where the bottom lens of my
current pair is just not available when I need it. Grand damper work is an
