According to the Pierce Piano Atlas it was the last instrument built by that Austrain frim that year.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I was hired to tune the piano and was told several keys did not work. Upon pulling the action I found something I had never seen. First there are no front rail punchings. The hammers are laid into the action the opposite direction of a normal grand. To top it all of the action is not like anything I have every seen either. (I agree that only having 7 years of experience limits me here) All of the hammers are buckskinned.
