Gather lots of information about the piano, and also about what the customer
actually wants, then go home and think it through. You are not required to
give the value that the customer wants, or to offer to repair for the price
the customer wants to pay!</DIV>

preparation I have been re-reading Larry Fine. So many things one never
really thinks about when simply tuning and maintaining the beasts. Anyway,
