that on an old upright. I always use a "dummy pin" to do the coils and turn
the pins in the piano only 1 full turn.</FONT></FONT></SPAN></DIV>

in the neighborhood of the bridge pins of D4 so that you can pull the
loosened bass strings out of the way as you work.<SPAN
