<DIV><FONT face=Tahoma size=2> Hi Les:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Tahoma size=2> I used to charge for travel
using a map with concentric circles radiating outward from my home base, the
travel charge going up as the distance became greater. It got complicated
when I had calls on the same day in different areas. I got tired of
quoting mileage figures to the customer and trying to be fair to both them and
myself. Finally in disgust I just raised my rate to cover an average
travel distance based on past experience and lumped it in with the tuning
fee. No itemizing. Menu pricing. Made life a lot easier.
If I get a long distance call now that I don't want, I refer to others who are
younger and hungrier. </FONT></DIV>
