I have a string cover to put on a Kawai tomorrow
and was wondering how everyone usually installed these. I have tried
dowels and different things but have never really been satisfied. I have a
roll of magnetic tape that I use for let off regulation, would there be a
downside of cutting strips and putting on the plate, take the backing off and
align the cover, then cut. The adhesion seems to be good with the felt
cover cloth, I think it could be done without any additional gluing or
fastening, the cover could be take off and on and realigned easily.
