<DIV>Greetings, </DIV>
<DIV>I started with a 1 inch block ad and kept it for about 6 years. I recently
downsized it to the complimentary one line because I have enough business that
regenerates itself. I had a about a 40 percent response in the beginning which
was mainly because there a very few technicians in Las Vegas that are in the
listings. Alphabetically, I am close to the top of the list and I get a lot of
shoppers which allows me to screen the "clients conditions" to determine if the
piano is a nice instrument or just another old upright or junk grand that some
rock and roller wants to bang on. I feel that if it wasn't for the ad I couldn't
have started out as fast as I did without it. Advertising is good. Also, stay
with the yellow pages that everyone uses. Here in Las Vegas there are two
companies that compete with two different yellow page directories. Ask your
clients which one they use even if you didn't get the referral through the book.
Kinda like calling a plumber...except different</DIV>

<DIV> I stay with the
free listing one liner that the phone company gives you. I get at least 5 or
more calls a month from it. Works for me.</DIV>
