gave a mini-technical class on making those felt-leather covered cabinet
buttons.Joe gave you the right procedure.Those buttons can be duplicated..Next
project can be pedal cushions for Steinway pedal {the ravioli type].Making them

12.0pt'>Anybody know if a source is available for these older M & H BB
buttons? (see attached photo) I am finishing up a BB and it uses
this very effective style of buttons. Seems to be hammer felt as a core
and a very thin woven scarlet cloth pulled snugly over and glued to the hammer
felt. Don't have any idea how they accomplished that with no folds or
seams in the scarlet felt - must've given it a thorough soaking in
something. It is amazing to me that they have been doing their job since
1926 with no apparent wear, other than to be too dingy now to use on a
refinished BB.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
