<DIV></DIV>Dave, I agree. The dealer is willing to go $300. It is a Samick/Wurly but Gibson isn't obligated to cover the warranty.<BR>

<DIV>Richard,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>It has to be fixed. Repinning everything is the only way to go. Are the pins coated or partially coated with black gunk (I assume that it's graphite)?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Who pays for it is the question. Who makes the Wurly? Shouldn't the manufacturer be responsible?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I have a client with an SG 150 that has similar problems. I haven't repinned everything, but most of the hammer, jack, and whip flanges. </DIV>

<DIV>This piano was my training ground for repinning. </DIV>

<DIV>List,</DIV>
<DIV>I've got a client with a constant seizing up of just about every bushing in the piano, from damper flanges to jacks, to hammer shanks. The piano in question is a 4'11" grand circa 2000. It has a climate control system installed by myself about 18mos. ago, and also a moisture king under key dh strip placed under the back action.</DIV>
<DIV>I've repinned several damper flanges(totaly seized-no swinging at all) lubed etc.</DIV>
<DIV>What would you suggest as a course of action to solve this situation. Is this a warranty issue? Gibson did not take over warranties when they bought the company, I am told.</DIV>
<DIV>Thanks,</DIV>
