Thanks Dean , Sometimes you just need to bounce things off others to
make sure you haven't missed something . I miss the PTG monthly meetings
we had back in KC . It was the perfect place to do this . Out here on a
remote island in the south pacific we don't have any meetings . Maybe
they do over on Oahu but techs don't travel much between islands anymore
now that airfare is so high . I need more of you on the list to respond to
this issue . Tell me if you have had problems with Dealers or customers
that have been miss informed about what is the best system for their
pianos . We all need to be on the same page to look and act responsible to
our customers . If there is a minimum amount of watts needed just to get
started then that needs to be easy for everyone to come to the same
conclusion of what is a proper starting point . I like the idea of 1 or
2 watts for every % above 42% if it can be backed up factually and
agreed on by all (most). If the techs and Manufactuer agree than the
dealers will have no choise but to let this be handled by a technician in
the feild that can make the proper evaluation of the life style the
customer has placed the piano in . As it sands now a few that must
only be looking at there bottom line are causing problems .
