<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>I tuned a brand new Hamilton yesterday. The B0
string had a loud buzz, which sounded like metal vibrating
against metal. I double-checked that there were no foreign
objects touching the string or soundboard (front and back), and that the buzz
wasn't coming from the trapwork or action. The noise is definitely
originating inside the piano, it's not a sympathetic vibration from some
object in the room. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>I assume the string itself is the problem, but before I
contact Baldwin for a replacement, what else should I check?</FONT></DIV>
