<DD>Greetings,</FONT>
<DD><FONT face=arial size=2>
<DD> Doing a dealer tuning
on a brand new Yamaha M-500 console, I found that the practice rail pedal
(center pedal) moves the practice rail into position okay... however the
pedal wont move to the left into the lock-on postion (slot). Upon closer
examination and after playing with the adjusting tie rod the slot doesnt
provide enough clearance for the pedal! </FONT>

<DD> The only solution I
see is to remove the felt that lines the cut-out and replace it with
thinner felt...it seems too thick. It measures 1/8" or better....or.. Am I
overlooking some other simpler solution, as I hate to pull and sever new
felt,,,I'd be redesigning the situation. </FONT><FONT face=arial size=2>
<DD>Has anyone ever seen this in a brand new Yamaha?? What gives? ....or
in this case... doesnt give?...In my whopping 42 months in business, I
have never seen a Yamaha with "careless" work. </FONT>
