rebuilders are designing, building, and installing RC&S boards. Currently,
I don't think there is a RC&S board piano being produced commercially. I

grands have soundboard systems in which the crown is formed and maintained by
machining the crown into the ribs. The ribs are used as load-carrying
beams. The soundboard panel is installed at a MC such that any
contribution it may make to supporting crown will be either non-existent or
minimal in any reasonable climate condition. </SPAN></FONT></DIV>
