<div>I am convinced that whatever felt is on the damper levers is getting too much friction from the damper lift rod. I will try the McLube suggestion from Paul McCloud. </div>

I have encountered squeaky groans at that interface, when the bolt rubs on the sides of the hole in the pedal. My remedy is to remove the pedal, enlarge the hole slightly, and bush it with leather.</FONT></div>
