Someone did extensive work on it about 15 years ago, and apparently replaced three of the screw stringers that presumably were broken/damaged. However, the replacements were homemade and do not stand up to tensions/torsions/stresses of tuning. They are all in the extreme treble, so it's not really crucial (the owner is a very amateur player and "doesn't need" those notes) but we'd both like to replace as many of the 3 homemade ones with original equipment if anyone can find me 1-4 of them.
