Clamped in a drill press vise, it holds a hammer head at an angle set by the gauge you see on the round part, and a rake adjusted by pivoting the little sticky-outy part (which is also where the hammer rests. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Bookman Old Style"></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Bookman Old Style">The Renner head boring jig is more elegant, but I have drilled many many sets on one of the Brooks jigs.
