<DIV><BR></DIV>From what I can tell in the photo, the piano vintage is early
1900's, yes? If so, my guess is that these are clamps to position and secure
an early "roll up" player mechanism. These were separate units, with pedals
for pumping, that had "fingers" that came out over the keys and played the

and have no idea what it is meant to do. Does anyone know? They are
brackets that swivel out from under both ends of the keybed and protrude just
beyond the keyslip in front of the legs. There are stop screws to limit the
