I had thought that I glide bolt might well work in this situation, though. I bought one of the large capstans from Jurgen for my last retrofit, but there wasn't enough room between the top of the trap lever for the both the capstan and the necessary bumper felt. Plus I would think that the larger surface area of the glide bolt might compress the bumper less and therefore maintain adjustment longer.
