panels for a Steinway B and a Steinway D. Thought I should start cuttin' some
Sitka as a first step in building these panels. Just thought I would share
some photos of the process - not everyone has the opportunity to see

two-inch-thick Sitka boards I am resawing are on the floor after the first
cut. My untouched two-inch stock is on the left of the picture. Bandsaw is on

to 20 feet long. In the picture is a 16-foot-long board ready to go through
the bandsaw. The object here is to produce flitches for building a soundboard
