Yeah, I'm doing that too, but leave most of that in the trunk until
it's needed. I have divided it up into mini-kits, something like this:<br>
-pinning (pin extractor, reamers, nippers, pins, gram gauge, etc)<br>
-key bushing (felt strips, field repair cauls, etc)<br>
-hammer shank replacement<br>
-lubes<br>

etc.<br>

They are labeled (on the outside) with the contents so I know what's
supposed to be there.<br>

I think I got the idea (finally) from something Isaac Sadigursky
mentioned. Thanks, Isaac, and everyone else who has mentioned this kind
of organizing! <br>

I'm keeping all the mini-kits in ammo bags, which are pretty tough and
durable. And fairly cheap. I get mine from <a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="http://www.cheaperthandirt.com">www.cheaperthandirt.com</a>, but
there probably are a bunch of different places from which to order.
Being a soft case rather than a rigid metal or plastic tool box helps
conserve my trunk space, which is limited.<br>

I'm going to Wal-Mart today, and will look in the pencil aisle. I've
looked all over that blasted huge store, and had concluded they didn't

<p>Wal-mart sells bags in the pens and pencils aisle that are just
like the Pearl River freebies only maybe a little heavier. they also
sell little canvas pencil cases of which I own several. Very handy. I
keep specialty pliers (key easing, etc.) in one, small common
parts(flanges, etc.) in another, small tools (case keys, jack prop,
center rail easer, etc.) in a third, glue and lube in a fourth, and so
on. See pic.</p>
