Yes, as I recall there are two zinc string rests in some pianos.
One under the capo, and one as the counter bearing. They are
unpainted metal, but are not as shiny as the usual chrome rear aliquot
bars.<br><br>

I used protech VERY liberally, more so than I would usually want to
admit, and no, the strings are not rusty.<br>

How about that "chrome plated" duplex-like bridge just forward
of the tuning pins. This thing looks like trouble to me.<br>
