<div><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>To cut the cords, get an appropriate size of dowel, and wrap the cord around, then cut with a sharp knife.</FONT></STRONG></div>
<div><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>To save travelling the hammers, just loosen the plate, and let the hammer hang on the bridle strap. Clean the groove, make a jig for size of the loop. The jig would be a tapered piece of wood, that could be pencil marked, for the size of the loop. Glue one side, slip in the jig to the mark for the loop size, and glue the other side. Then slip hammers back in place and tighten butt plate.</FONT></STRONG></div>
<div><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>Then again, it might be better to remove them all so any loose pins can be changed at the same time. Or if they don't have butt plates, they have to be removed anyway.</FONT></STRONG></div>
<div><STRONG><FONT face=Arial>Just a thought, replace the first set, keep the old ones, and re-cord them at your leisure, and you will always have a set to go.</FONT></STRONG></div>

They also have lots of other action parts, some of which are not yet shown in their catalog.<br>

Is it a better bet to replace the flanges? I would think so, but I think the time might end up being a wash, and I hate to waste materials...besides, if it's a grey market unit, getting parts might be a problem.<br>
