<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 color=navy face=Arial><span style='font-size:

just fine. In my opinion,The Car Jack-scissors type on a pedestal is a
winner and I already have it in my van.If you have that very useful tool-you
will use it.Grand pianos are always in need of attention in that
department.Rubber mallet ,good selection of #16-#18 wood screws ,screwmate
drills, plugs and even a pair of small and large Leg Plates one of
each kind is a MUST.I always check pianos for stability before tuning.Today had
to fix leg #2 and re-attach the Lyre on a Hamilton 5’2” for a new
client. They had this piano moved from far away a few years back, had it tuned a
few times and nobody noticed or paid attention to that clicking noise coming
from loose leg.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 color=navy face=Arial><span style='font-size:

van-I did it without any waiting and it didn’t take long. The leg
plate was loose ,loose leg produced loud clicking sound making it impossible to
tune the piano. It was another case of Post Moving Syndrome…Hope, all
previous posts and responces will make you more enthusiastic about doing this
type of work.Few times a year I have to do this type of repair for my PTG
collegues who can’t do it or are Overqualified to do ot…. Best

have this job a guy wants to attatch the pedal lyre, but the piano has no
casters and isnt high enough to do so. I am just wondering if I should refer
the job to another tuner in our chapter, who has the jack, since I
wont be able to make the money back for buying the jack on the first job.
Is it worth buying? Is there a big call for this type of work, or will
the thing just sit? Is there a "home made way" of doing this
job? <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
