Anyone tune a Samick vertical, model 247? Yes, and welcome in the club :o) And I found it impossible to voice it. Hammers like solid rock breaking the needles, so we changed the hammers. Pins were terribly tight, and it would have been a complete nightmare without the Reyburn CyberHammer. The usual "glass-breaking" Samick sound made octave tuning not so critical. Does that qualify as a "feature"? :) There was a dorky looking decal on the top left inside panel that proudly proclaimed "Action Testing - Done." Woo-hoo, I guess. Reminded me of Janssen's creed. I was thinking that if all the pianos I had to tune were like this I would have to either find alternative employment or end up in a padded room somewhere sorting pocket lint. The pastor seemed pleased with it, though. "It's got a big sound," he said, with a smile. I said, "Yeah, it sure looks nice," also with a smile. (There goes my chance for a voicing sale, I suppose.
