The Jaras Jig will center the pin in the mortise fore and aft just fine, however left to right is another story. The spring loaded retainer on the left pushes the key so that the pin is off  center and slightly leaning to the left.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Has anyone else had similar problem and figured how to modify this tool?</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Tried shims without any luck.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>It is like it needs to be braced on the right side to put an even grip on the key.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Any help would be appreciated.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Regards,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Gene Nelson</FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML>
