Many years ago, Garrison Keillor told a great story
on his radio show about a woman who went to an auction and bid on an
old piano that had chimes inside it. The title was "Mrs. Berge
and the Schubert Carillon Piano." Whether that was a real piano or the
product of his imagination, I don't know (Pierce lists Schubert, which would be
about the right age, but there's no mention of a Schubert
Carillon). I've got a tape of that story around here
someplace.
