using an etd. Is this correct? If so which one.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Plucking the string will sometimes give a better
reading with an ETD. Also try moving the mike of the unit.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Check the mating of hammer and string.
</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>You can sometimes mate the hammer and
string with the seating tool by pushing a high string back away from the
hammer so to speak. File hammer if needed.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Your problem could also be poor notching of the
bridge, or wood chips resting on the string and bridge.</FONT></DIV>
