<DIV>I'm not one of the stalwart regulars of the list, but nevertheless,
should anyone be interested and near a radio tomorrow, I will be interviewed
on a radio show called THE STORY with Dick Gordon. It is aired on many
but not all National Public Radio stations. Here in Chicago it will be
on WBEZ (91.5fm) at 2PM, although my story is actually on the second half of
the show.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Regardless of whether or not you are interested in hearing me tell the
story of an oil painting I made of a woodpecker when I was 6 years old (1958),
you might be interested in this show. THE STORY is a little like THIS
AMERICAN LIFE, also aired on NPR outlets, in that both shows feature every day
people relating things that have happened in their lives. We all
spend so much time in our cars that finding some alternative broadcasting
choices can help make the travel time fly by. I have listened to this
show for a couple of months and really enjoy it.</DIV>
<DIV><BR>Now that I've told everyone about this, I hope I don't sound like an
idiot on the radio...(a distinct possibility!)</DIV>
