<DIV>Hello to All,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> To lump all "Birdcage" pianos into one category, </DIV>
<DIV>one quality range or one condition just does not </DIV>
<DIV>make sense.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> Many of these pianos are made much stronger than</DIV>
<DIV>others. We as technicians must evaluate each piano</DIV>
<DIV>ON ITS OWN MERIT. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> It is a disservice to the public to say things like</DIV>
<DIV> "all black pianos are bad" this is the same as saying
</DIV>
<DIV>that no Birdcage pianos cannot be raised SUCCESSFULLY
</DIV>
<DIV> to 440. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> I have personally raised pitch on many of these </DIV>
<DIV>pianos with no adverse effects. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> Our profession seems to have a propensity to lump</DIV>
<DIV>each item into one category. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> If you are guilty of this type of conduct I
respectfully </DIV>
<DIV> say stop. We owe it to the profession we share. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> If a person cannot get the truth about Pianos from a
</DIV>
<DIV>Piano technician. THEN WHO ???? </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Respectfully,</DIV>
<DIV>Jack Wyatt </DIV></FONT><BR><BR><BR><DIV><FONT style="color: black; font: normal 10pt ARIAL, SAN-SERIF;"><HR style="MARGIN-TOP: 10px">See what's free at <A title="http://www.aol.com?ncid=AOLAOF00020000000503" href="http://www.aol.com?ncid=AOLAOF00020000000503" target="_blank">AOL.com</A>. </FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML>
