and replacing that epoxied soundboard is going to curry up explicatives you've
never heard as you are awoken from your "Rest In Peace" eighty years or so
from now. So if this is a one shot deal, epoxy away. However, Titebond makes an
excellent product called <STRONG>Titebond II Extend</STRONG> (thanks to Rick
Wheeler of Roseland Piano for this gem). You'll never find it in the hardware
store so look it up on the internet or call Titebond for a local rep that
can order it for you, oh and you'll have to buy the jug. It's just what
you're looking for.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Just curious if anyone uses epoxy to glue in a
new soundboard?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Other than the difficulty of removing the
board in the next 25 to 50 years, are there any other problems associated
with this?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>My main motivation for epoxy is that I will be
alone for glue up and prboably am not fast enough for carpenters
glue.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I do have a bottle of new glue that I have never
used from Garrett Wate called Slo-Set Glue - an aliphatic resin - gives about
30 min work time.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Comments welcome.</FONT></DIV>
